Developing mutually beneficial working relationships has always been a priority for me in my career. I seek out professional and ambitious photographers on a daily basis, and am almost always willing to try a test shoot. Todd White was a photographer I was interested in working with and we finally got to shoot in Austin last year. The shots from that shoot came out absolutely gorgeous and he was also very professional and edited over 50 photos for me! So when he called me last month and said "I've booked a shoot for you, interested?." I didn't hesitate when I said "YES!".
He proceeds to tell me the gig is for a local boutique in Austin called Golden Bones. Being new to the area I was not familiar with their style, so I checked out their Instagram and was instantly stoked to model for them. They combine an edgy-alternative-sexy look with current fashion trends. Golden Bones definitely has a unique style that brings out the 'Skull Sister' in all of us!
Todd's shooting style was a perfect complement for the direction of this photoshoot. Golden Bones put together an incredible team of myself, Todd, hairstylist Mari, MUA Anastasia and model Kim. When it was all said and done we were able to turn this dank dive bar into the ultimate fashion tomb. ☠️
